LITTLE THINGS 06 - WORK JUST FOR THE DESIRE FOR RESULTS

When writing these articles, I don't expect that someone will see and sympathize with them, because I know that this is a type of article that does not fit the content of the FTAC website and is not something that most people are interested in. I only write because I am naturally inspired to write and mostly write for myself. FTAC is a spiritual product of mine, which is also where I operate, so I chose to submit it for fun. However, if there is someone who can read, empathize and apply something to relieve the pressure in life, I am also very happy.

OPERATING ONLY BECAUSE OF THE DESIRE FOR RESULTS

Anxiety and stress all arise from the wrong thought patterns that govern us in all our activities. These stereotypes are created by the collective cognitive stereotype. When our perception is not clear enough to deeply feel the true nature of life, we will always operate under the complete control of these thought patterns. So in order to relieve anxiety and stress, we need to recognize and work towards a gradual break from the domination of these false patterns in all our activities.

In this section we learn about a very common pattern – in our state of unconscious consciousness, we are always completely dominated by the tendency to act solely out of a desire for benefits and results. When we are governed by this false perception pattern, we always only care about our own interests, put our own interests first, ignore or may even harm the interests of others. We only do the activity because we want to achieve some benefit for ourselves or those related to us, the desire to enjoy the fruits of the activity is the only motivation that makes us carry out the activity, all the mental energy that we put into obtaining the benefit and protecting the benefit that we want to enjoy – the benefit here can be is a material benefit or fame and status. When we operate under the complete domination of this pattern, although the mind can come up with a thousand noble reasons to justify our actions, if we are clear and calm enough to look deeply in our minds, we will see that the main motivation behind all our activities is the attachment to the enjoyment of benefits and success As a result of activity, it is constantly operating within us and those around us. Because we are too focused and focused on benefits, we are always operating in anxiety and pressure, we are no longer able to feel joy and creative inspiration in each activity. Although we are very concerned about the benefits, the results of the activity, we are not wise enough to see that doing the activity in this wrong motivation is the worst way to achieve benefits, it limits our ability to achieve benefits, and if we achieve something, it will come at a much greater cost. As we often say, "go to work to earn rice", "plow a buffalo to enjoy a lot", when we think like that, we are completely governed by the pattern of operating in the desire to enjoy the fruits, earning rice is just an understatement to cover up much larger desires. These desires are mostly about money. When we operate in a state where our whole mind is focused on desires, the desire to enjoy the fruits, the desire to enjoy the fruits, the money, we are so completely tied up in these crazy desires and desires, our eyes are no longer bright enough to see anything other than the benefits we desire in our heads. In such a state we always operate reluctantly, rigidly, completely lacking in freedom, creativity and inspiration. Because we are afraid of losing our cup of rice to do our work or because we dream of the days of enjoyment in the future, we have to plow, even though we always do it with reluctance, lack of attention and lack of responsibility in our work, we are always afraid of being criticized by our superiors, afraid of losing our jobs. Because of the fear of losing a bowl of rice and losing benefits, we always operate in fear of losing customers, although in fact we never voluntarily devote ourselves wholeheartedly to products and services to serve them legitimately, we always call for service with external slogans, But in the hearts of customers, they are just like mines of benefits that we need to embrace and keep for ourselves, from which many clichés, lies and deceptions arise. Because we are afraid of losing the bowl of rice, we have to flatter the superiors, while the lower ones are oppressive and bullying, simply because we think that the superiors can bring us rice and the lower ones can't, but we really have no respect for the people above at all. True respect and flattery are two completely different things. Because we are afraid of losing our bowl of rice, we have to bow down to unreasonable things without daring to speak honestly to improve them. There are very meaningful things that still serve and help us every day in silence, but because we think that they do not bring any benefits, we also consider them invisible without the slightest appreciation or gratitude. Because we are afraid of losing our bowl of rice, because we want to enjoy fame, we have to try to bring others down in order to become more outstanding and compete for recognition. Because we are afraid of losing our bowl of rice, we have to compromise with wrong and unrighteous deeds, even if we are too dominated by this wrong perception pattern, we lose the ability to distinguish what is right and what is not right. Our minds, in a state of obscurity dominated by the attachment to enjoy benefits and rewards, will legitimize the reason for wrongdoing: "everyone does it, we must do it," no matter how dishonest and unconscionable it may be. Because of the lack of clarity in awareness, we always let our lives get caught up in so many false paradoxes without even realizing it. And when we are fully engaged in the service of our personal desires, fully engaged in such a frantic and thoughtless desire to enjoy, we are always locked up in the mud of anxiety, pressure, and of course suffer the heavy consequences of wrong choices. We completely lose joy, inspiration, and creativity in all activities, and life is just a never-ending struggle and struggle. Even worse, when a person is always active in a crazy desire for money and fame, they are always aching for benefits but often the results will not be as expected, they will be disillusioned many times. How many people have spent their lives striving and fighting for the sake of benefits, because of their attachment to achievements, but in the end they are still completely empty-handed. And if they are lucky to achieve a certain achievement, the price to be paid will also be much greater, that price is health, freedom, family happiness, life time, and above all, peace of mind. And one more thing, when operating in such a crazy state of desire for benefits, if we achieve a little fruit, we will also fall into the tendency of frivolous enjoyment as a reward for how much pressure, anxiety, stress and hardship we have endured continuously for a long time. These frivolous enjoyments can paralyze our perception for a moment, helping us to temporarily forget the pressures that exist. Yet these pressures will not disappear because we seek vanity enjoyment, which is always there, and when the euphoria passes we will face even greater pressures than before, because all desires and desires continue and swell. and we continue to seek frivolous enjoyments for temporary liberation. The inevitable consequence of the circle of anxiety and pressure and then frivolous enjoyment, then continued anxiety and pressure is the heavy destruction of health, the time of life is mercilessly deprived. Because then we are completely immersed in anxiety, pressure, or dullness, numbness in frivolous pleasures, and there is nothing left of our lives. These frivolous enjoyments, in addition to dissipating our physical health, will also quickly dissipate the gains we have achieved, in case we are lucky enough to achieve something.

If we are fortunate enough to arise a flash of consciousness that breaks free from the dense restraint of this pattern of mind, we will partly realize its terrible devastation on our lives, which can be said to be the first moment of awakening in one's life. From this initial little awakening, we begin to want to know what true peace is, we begin to want to be free from the endless mud of endless worries and pressures to taste true peace.

Lao Tzu – one of the great saints of mankind, he appeared almost at the same time as the Buddha about 2,600 years ago – through the book "Tao Te Ching" in only 5,000 words, he opened up to people an extremely wise and profound way of life. in order to help those who have enough depth, enough to receive and direct themselves to live according to it, they will achieve everything. This lifestyle is called "Infinite". "Infiniteness" is also the core focus of Lao Tzu's thought and teachings for people. "Ignorance" does not mean not doing anything, not doing any activity, but doing it without force, doing it completely naturally, without regard to the results of the work. A person who can deeply feel and imbue with the profound wisdom of the philosophy of "Infinite" will carry out all activities as a service to life in accordance with his prescribed functions and roles in life without giving rise to any expectations or expectations for results. People can only feel true joy, inspiration and creativity in all activities of life when they keep a calm mood and are not pressured to do those activities. Working in a state of "innocent" means not being too greedy, hugging, rushing because you want to achieve something from work, but always doing work that comes from a sincere desire to give back to life. Carrying out activities in such a state of mind will create an extremely high level of inspiration and creativity in action. In that state, we do it as if we don't do it, we work as if we don't work, everything happens naturally. What we often call effort is just motivation to act out of the desire to enjoy the benefits and fruits of that activity. This is purely an activity to satisfy frivolous desires, it does not bring inspiration and creativity, but only creates pressure and burden. When acting with sincerity and a spirit of service voluntarily, all pressure will be replaced by inspiration and creativity. In inspiration, there is no effort. Lao Tzu's way of living and operating according to the "Infinite" thought creates a wise attitude and a calm mind in all activities, helping people to relieve all anxiety and pressure in the state of activity just to enjoy the fruits. "Infiniteness" also brings people to a higher state of awareness and true peace in life. This is not at all a fanciful and unrealistic lifestyle as many people with not clear enough perception comment, on the contrary, this is the most wise, intellectual, effective and practical truth of life and activity in a turbulent life.

However, in order to be able to imbibe and live with this noble and intellectual truth, it is necessary for one to have a sufficiently clear and deep level of awareness, a sufficiently calm and steady interior, a sufficiently clear and strong belief in the true truths. Only in this way can man be somewhat free from the bondage of desire and the stereotypes of prejudice in the collective consciousness which are so entrenched in the mind for a very long time. Only then can people live a freer and more meaningful life. Upgrading awareness and wisdom to be able to perceive more deeply the nature of reality and life, deeply feel the operation of profound truths, thereby being able to break free from the constraints of illusions and prejudices in the mind to live and operate according to the natural flow of life, Having true peace is also the ultimate goal of all beings when they come to this life.

In fact, when we only work to serve our desires, only for the sake of benefits and achievements, the quality of our activities is extremely low, and the more we desire to enjoy the results, the less we will achieve. On the contrary, when we live and operate according to the truth of "Infiniteness", we only operate in the spirit of serving life without caring about enjoying the fruits. But that's not why the results don't come to us. When we operate in a completely free, enlightened consciousness that is not bound by anything like that, it is easy to recognize what is worth doing and what is not, what is appropriate for our role and function and what is not, we will do exactly what we need to do and get rid of the redundancy definitively. This will help purify our activities, everything we do is something that is worth doing and is absolutely suitable for us. And when carrying out specific activities, we always do them with wholeheartedness and voluntarily, doing it in the joy of inspiration and creativity without being bound by anything at all. Because we no longer care about the results of the activity, there are no obstacles, barriers, or worries in the mind when acting. In that state of joyful, creative and voluntary activities, the quality of activities is very high, so although we do not wish or aspire, all results will still come naturally, which is impossible to be different. However, when we practice this wisdom and wisdom lifestyle, whether the results come or not is no longer a problem or a concern for us. For in this state all the activities that come to us are entirely arranged by nature, we have no intention or plan to seek them out, nor do we have any desire for them. We merely see activities as opportunities to express our abilities and roles in life, the performance of activities is merely a way for us to give the value of our existence to life. In a state of consciousness that is sufficiently calm, clear, and deep, we understand that we are absolutely an integral part of all the other elements of life, that we are present in our lives due to the presence of all the other elements of our lives. So we will never deny any legitimate service to life, because that is what we are serving ourselves. And of course, when operating in such a state of complete indifference to results, there is no reason or pressure that can make us compromise with things that are unconscionable, lack of integrity and are not suitable for our role. The reason why people have to engage in unconscionable and unjustified actions even though they know that they can lead to severe consequences is because they are bound by desire, by the attachment to profit and the desire to enjoy the fruits. When the inner self is clear and firm enough to recognize and say no to unconscionable and unjustified things, we have also avoided a lot of risks and disasters that may occur. When we carry out all activities in the "Infinite" philosophy, all the joy and creative inspiration we have fully enjoyed in the process of carrying out the activities, all the results that come are just as by-products of the process.

It should be known, however, that in this state of deep and clear consciousness we do not reject the fruits of activity, for it is natural to come, what we reject is only the frenzied attachment to the result of the activity, the intense desire for benefits and results that always binds us to choose and practice. It makes us bear so many risks, anxieties and pressures, so we recognize it and get rid of it, this is merely a removal of a burden in the mind when the awareness is clear and stable enough. In such a state of completely natural and voluntary activity, we do not reject but always appreciate the results, but on the other hand, we are also extremely calm about the results. So whether the activity succeeds or fails, it doesn't confuse us, which creates absolute freedom to do anything. When we are clear and calm about such an achievement, we are also able to use the fruits of the process in a very meaningful and effective way. We cherish all achievements and if we wish we can use a part of them for ourselves and our families in a legitimate way, but we will never let them be wasted on vanities, or in the service of illusions. The rest of the fruits of the process will be used to continue to serve life correctly and appropriately as a natural thing.

Everyone is born with a very limited life time. Anyone can have to leave life and leave everything behind at any time, this is an unpredictable thing, completely out of human control. Because life is extremely finite and full of such unexpected elements, we need to use it effectively, we should know how to cherish every moment that is present in this world, and we should not waste too much mental energy and time forever chasing frivolous desires and desires. The ancient Greek philosopher Socrates, a great philosopher who lived nearly 3,000 years ago, said that "a life that is not considered is a life that is not worth living". Socrates means that living a life without thinking, without questioning oneself, without examining one's own ideas and beliefs is a life that lacks meaning, purpose and completeness. Socrates believed that constant reflection and self-examination were the way for man to rise above instinct and desire, develop intellectually, gain freedom, peace, and achieve spiritual perfection. In the present, the American spiritual master Eckhart Tolle said in his famous book "The Power of the Present" that: "The true meaning of life does not lie in life itself, but in liberation from the constraints of life." Eckhart means that the true meaning of the process of life, the process of being in this world, is not the attainment of material achievements such as money, status, and fame - which most of us always consider to be the goal that must be achieved in our whole lives. is the essential meaning of life – it lies in liberation from the constraints of its own things. In a state of cognition that is defined by general patterns and lack of clarity, most of us define life by material achievements. The frantic desire for material achievements always binds us to anxiety, pressure, and calamities, and it makes us suffocated and dissatisfied when our aspirations fail. Therefore, both Eckhart Tolle and Socrates – two sages with transcendent wisdom in two completely different ages – want to tell us that we should live a life in its true sense, that is, to always examine ourselves, to question ourselves continuously. to gradually realize and gradually break free from the constraints of material desires. The process of living in such a meaningful way will make our awareness gradually become clear and deep, our understanding of truths and realities will increase, the soul will gradually be perfected, thereby having more freedom, joy and inspiration when performing our role in life. This is the "true meaning of life" that Eckhart Tolle wanted to convey in the above sentence.
